My Dance School started with a simple question: why is running a dance school still so chaotic?
The backstory
Olivia has been dancing since she could walk. Competitions most weekends, classes every evening, rehearsals in between. Her dad, Mark, spent years on the other side — the parent side — watching how dance schools actually run behind the scenes.
What he saw was brilliant teachers buried under admin. WhatsApp groups with 200 unread messages. Payment spreadsheets that never quite added up. Competition entries scribbled on paper. Parents chasing invoices. Owners doing everything manually because the "dance school software" out there felt like it was built in 2005.
So they decided to build something better — together. Mark brought the tech and product thinking. Olivia brought the real-world knowledge of what dancers, teachers, and parents actually need. Not what a software company thinks they need.
