Our Commitment to Accessibility
My Dance School is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

We have implemented the following accessibility features:
Keyboard Navigation
- All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard
- Logical tab order throughout the application
- Visible focus indicators on all focusable elements
- Skip navigation links where appropriate
Screen Reader Support
- Semantic HTML structure
- ARIA labels and roles where needed
- Alternative text for images
- Form labels and error messages properly associated
Visual Design
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- Light and dark mode options
- Resizable text without loss of functionality
- No content relies solely on colour to convey information
Responsive Design
- Mobile-first approach for all layouts
- Content reflows at different viewport sizes
- Touch targets of at least 44x44 pixels
- Horizontal scrolling minimised
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are working to address them:
- Complex data tables: Some tables with extensive data may be challenging to navigate with screen readers. We are working on improved table navigation.
- Third-party integrations: Some third-party components (e.g., payment forms) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We work with vendors to improve accessibility.
- PDF documents: Some downloadable reports may not be fully accessible. We are working on accessible alternatives.
