By accessing or using My Dance School ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all users of the Platform, including dance school owners, staff, parents, and students.

2. Description of Service

My Dance School provides a software-as-a-service platform designed to help dance schools manage their operations, including but not limited to: student and staff management, class scheduling, attendance tracking, payment processing, communication tools, competition management, and parent portal access.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Keep your password secure and confidential
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of the Platform, you agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
Share login credentials with unauthorized parties
Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm others

5. Subscription and Payment Terms

Dance school subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected during signup. By subscribing, you agree to:

Pay all applicable fees for your selected plan
Provide valid payment information
Accept automatic renewal unless you cancel before the renewal date
Understand that fees are non-refundable except as required by law

We reserve the right to change subscription fees with 30 days' notice. Trial periods, if offered, will automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and consent to our collection and use of data as described therein. Dance schools are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate consent from parents/guardians for minor students.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, features, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform without our express written permission. Your content (student data, photos, documents) remains your property, but you grant us a license to use it to provide our services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Dance School shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
